Description
Magnaflux Soundsafe is a high-performance, general-purpose ultrasonic couplant with medium gel viscosity for flaw detection and sizing, thickness gauging, flow metering and acoustic emission testing. Its thixotropic, slower-drying gel provides outstanding acoustic performance, highest corrosion inhibition, great surface wetting and excellent cling on vertical and overhead surfaces. Soundsafe is nuclear grade with low halogen and sulfur levels, non-toxic and non-irritating, and meets a wide range of specifications including Pratt & Whitney approvals, making it ideal for aerospace, nuclear and other critical ultrasonic inspection applications over a broad usage temperature range of 0 to 200°F (-18 to 93°C).
