Magnaflux Echogel 20 is a medium-thick, economical ultrasonic couplant gel for general flaw detection, sizing and thickness gauging on corroded, dirty or salt-caked surfaces. It spreads easily, wets rough and oily metal quickly and stays in place without running, giving stable ultrasonic readings over large areas. Formulated without silicone or glycerin and with low halogen and sulfur content, it offers good corrosion inhibition, is compatible with most metals and composites, rinses off with water after testing, and is available in multiple pack sizes for different inspection needs.
