Description

The TD42S3 thermodynamic steam trap features a forged steel body and is ideal for use in low ambient temperatures down to -48°C. A full range of lower capacity traps (½" - 1") designated TD42S2LC are available for applications such as mains drainage or tracing. The trap is available with an insulating cover which is suitable for mains drainage or tracing applications and Integral blowdown valve: A BDV1 or BDV2 can be fitted to the strainer cap (manufactured in 316L), alternatively the strainer cap can be drilled, tapped and plugged " BSP or NPT, Sizes includes ½"LC, ¾"LC, 1"LC, ½", ¾" and 1" socket weld ends to ASME B 16.11 Schedule 80 / BS 3799 Class 3000 lb.
