Description
Siemens CPU 1214C DC/DC/DC runs from a 24 V DC supply (20.4–28.8 V) and draws about 145 mA for the CPU alone; consumption can rise to 1 000 mA with all expansion modules and inrush current up to 12 A. Power loss is approximately 3.5 W. The controller provides 250 kB program memory, 750 kB data memory and 1 000 kB work memory with an 8 MB load memory that is expandable via memory card. Onboard I/O comprises 14 digital inputs and 10 transistor outputs rated 0.5 A with four high‑speed 100 kHz PTO/PWM channels. The CPU supports up to 4 000 program blocks and includes a dual‑port PROFINET interface for controller and device communication.
