The SenSafe Low Range Chlorine Dioxide Testing Strip tests for a robust range of concentrations. Accurate results at your fingertips in under one minute, making the new chlorine dioxide test strip ideal for the paper processing industry. Strips are packaged in either bottles or foil packs labeled with a detailed color chart. This patented test promises to be a very attractive alternative to wet chemical chlorine dioxide tests because a mechanical reader is NOT required. But best of all, this product is safe and easy to use since there are no chemicals to mix, no SDS required, and the indicator is non-carcinogenic. For best results, run test immediately after collecting a fresh water sample. Chlorine Dioxide is a sanitizer & oxidizer used in paper manufacture and water treatment. The USEPA limits contamination to 1ppm for drinking water. It is commonly used as a water additive to control microbes and can be used to control tastes and odors. It rapidly disappears from stored water.
