Description
The Fireye Phoenix Series II 85UVF1A-1QD is a high-performance ultraviolet flame scanner engineered for advanced flame monitoring in industrial combustion systems. Utilizing a solid-state UV detection sensor, this microprocessor-based scanner features built-in self-diagnostics and an internal flame relay, eliminating the need for external amplifiers.
The model operates within a spectral range of 295–340 nm, optimized to detect flame flicker amplitude over a wide frequency spectrum. The scanner automatically learns flame profiles and sets switching thresholds to ensure accurate flame detection, even in dynamic conditions. It supports a selectable FFRT and provides a robust 4-20mA isolated analog signal for flame strength.
Housed in a durable cast aluminum enclosure with IP66/NEMA 4X protection, the scanner connects via an 8-pin quick-disconnect and supports purge air to maintain lens clarity in demanding environments. It is ideal for applications such as duct burners, refinery and waste gas units, Low NOx burners, and incinerators.
