Description

This Advanced Pressure Systems 40K Pressure Regulating Valve Assembly (PRV-40K, code 65-040-010) is a Jetstream-compatible bypass valve for high-pressure diesel and electric waterblast pumping units. It diverts part of the pump flow back to a low-pressure return line, allowing the operator to control system pressure when working at the low end of the pump’s flow range. On electric units, where drive speed cannot be reduced, a PRV is considered essential for safe pressure control. The assembly uses an easy-change cartridge design, so the internal valve and seat can be serviced in the field in just a few minutes, minimizing downtime. All wetted components are machined from stainless steel for corrosion resistance and long service life, and the unit mounts directly to the discharge manifold using 3/4" NPT connections and a 3/4" hose barb outlet. The common APS adjuster handle with locking clamp lets operators set pressure by hand and lock the setting for repeatable operation.
