Description

This Advanced Pressure Systems 20K pressure regulating valve (PRV) assembly is designed for diesel and electric high-pressure pumping units to divert a portion of the flow back to a low-pressure outlet while maintaining constant system pressure. The valve acts as a hand-adjusted needle by-pass valve, allowing operators to control pressure when the application requires flow at the low end of the pump operating range. For electric units a PRV is required equipment because motor speed is not adjustable. All key components are machined from stainless steel and the cartridge-style insert simplifies field rebuilds with minimal downtime. The Jetstream-style assembly mounts directly on the fluid end discharge manifold and includes a 1/2" NPT(F) discharge adapter with 1/2" NPTM x 3/4" hose size brass hose barb.
